In 2017, while struggling with a leg injury that put a stop to my running, I committed to write, illustrate and publish this book myself.  After years of dedication the book came into fruition.  I'm very proud of what I created and super excited to share it with young kids worldwide.

The best book!

We love The Girl Who Ran Across Africa. This is the second copy I have purchased. This time for a birthday present, last time for my son and our nature kindy children. We love the story and the artwork. It is well written and inspiring. We love that Emma wrote and illustrated it herself. The real photos at the end are always a great talking point. The best book!

An inspiring labour of love...

This is a great book for kids of all ages. It is engaging and inspiring. A great starting point to encourage the next generation - anything is possible if you just keep putting one foot in front of the other:) I cannot believe that Emma is the protagonist, writer and illustrator - a huge achievement on all fronts.
